Average salary of a tax inspector in different cities of Russia

The above amount is very general, but how much do tax inspectors receive specifically in Moscow and cities more distant from the financial center? There are no official statistics for these data. But the data of independent analysts give the following picture of the average salary of a tax officer by city:

  • Norilsk - 39,619 rubles;
  • Tchaikovsky - 27,500 rubles;
  • Anadyr - 26,592 rubles;
  • Pevek - 25,731 rubles;
  • Murmansk - 23,900 rubles;
  • Moscow - 21,500 rubles;
  • Samara - 20,500 rubles.

If we consider the situation in regional level, then the most high level salaries of the same tax inspector by 2015 is observed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory (39,619 rubles). And the lowest level was seen in Kemerovo and Nizhny Novgorod regions(about 16,000 rubles). It can be assumed that salaries rise closer to Moscow, but the situation is completely different. In the capital and adjacent regions, the salary of a tax inspector does not exceed 17,500 rubles.

Why is there so much talk about raising the salaries of tax officials?

In the last two years, all the media have been talking about raising the salaries of civil servants. It is worth mentioning how this will be done. Back in 2012, Dmitry Medvedev announced a 70% increase in the salaries of civil servants. The changes were supposed to take place in three stages (the first allowances were made in 2014, then in 2015-2016, and by 2018 salaries should reach the declared amounts). But for some reason, no one talks about what will remain from the declared 70% by 2018.

Will the salary of employees of tax inspections be increased? Therefore, despite the prestige of the profession, there are also a considerable number of problems in it, such as bribery, lack of personnel, etc.

If we compare the working conditions of tax officials and employees of no less important structures, such as the Ministry of Emergency Situations or the police, the comparison will clearly not be in favor of the former. Despite the fact that firefighters and police officers receive a little more (the average salary for employees of these structures in Russia is 33,000 rubles), the legislation provides for a number of various benefits that make these areas of activity look more attractive. Tax officials don't even have that.

In general, there is nothing surprising in the personnel crisis of the tax. Due to low income and lack of benefits, the service not only forces experienced employees to quit and look for a better life in other structures, but also does not attract young people. This is not surprising, because few people will go for a salary of 10,000 - 11,000 rubles, and in the tax, young professionals, as a rule, are no longer paid. If young people come there, often the only incentive is to gain work experience, and therefore, such a worker will not stay for long. After working for only two of the allotted years, its operation was also suspended in 2017 due to the onset of the financial crisis, the imposition of sanctions and the fall in oil prices. Should we expect salary increases?

Today it is difficult to answer the question: will the salary of tax workers increase in 2019? However, there is still good news at least, the state remembered the tax authorities and is now working on at least two projects.

In particular:

  1. Salary increase.
  2. Rate increase.

As for the first option, it was submitted to the State Duma by representatives of the Ministry of Finance. In their opinion, thanks to this measure, not only will wages increase, but the desire of the tax authorities to change jobs in search of a better life will also disappear. The Ministry of Finance is in solidarity with the opinion that the current incomes of employees of this department are extremely low, and therefore they propose to make a phased increase in salaries.

The project itself assumes a gradual increase in income over three years, with the first salary increase already in 2019. In total, it is planned that by 2019 the salary of tax employees will increase by a total of 30%, compared with current figures. It would seem that the amount is not so large, but at the same time, such an initiative can really be considered at least the first step towards increasing income.

However, the Ministry of Labor decided to look at this problem from a slightly different angle. Due to the fact that the proposal of the Ministry of Finance mainly affects the incentive part of the salary of tax officials, officials of the Ministry of Labor proposed an alternative - to raise the rate. They are convinced that it is this measure that will restore prestige to the tax service and convince its current employees of the need to change their place of work. How much the salary will be increased, according to this proposal, has not yet been reported. To date, both bills are being considered in the State Duma, and it is still impossible to say whether at least one of them will be adopted.

A large amount of budget money is needed to increase the wages of tax officials in 2017. And it wouldn't hurt other civil servants either. After all, their number in our country is quite large.

More than 10 per cent of the total working population is employed in public service departments. So the very issue of income growth for this category of working citizens is very serious. First of all, it should be attributed to the competence of the Ministry financial support RF.

So, when will the tax authorities raise wages in 2017? The bill, which was submitted by the Ministry of Finance for discussion in State Duma, proposes to gradually increase the salaries of civil servants in their bonus parts. The Ministry of Finance also suggested that it is possible to systematically increase such indicators, which on average should be an increase in salaries every month by 0.3 times.

The Ministry of Finance also proposed to introduce such a program for three years. the incomes of civil servants for such a time will reach a decent level, if we compare them with representatives of the highest levels of the civil service. But the Ministry of Labor, on the contrary, proposed an increase not in the incentive part of income, but in the salary itself.
